How we collect, store, and use your information.
Information We Collect
We collect only the data required to power your forecasts: your email address, household onboarding inputs, saved scenarios, financial goals, and billing details for Pro subscriptions. We do not ingest bank credentials, government IDs, or marketing data.
For Pro users who enable household sharing, we collect the email addresses of invited users and maintain access logs showing when shared users view or modify household data.
How We Use Data
Inputs are used to generate deterministic forecasts, Monte Carlo simulations, scenario comparisons, Social Security claiming analysis, and tax-efficient withdrawal insights. Goal data is used to calculate feasibility scores and track progress toward your financial milestones.
Email addresses are used for authentication, transactional updates (billing receipts), and optional annual review reminders. You can disable reminder emails at any time in Settings. We never sell or rent personal data.
Storage & Security
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest, Row Level Security, and audited admin changes. Access is limited to your authenticated account; admins only touch global assumption tables. Magic link sessions are cookie-based and can be revoked at any time from Settings.
Household sharing uses signed, time-limited invitation tokens. Shared access is enforced through database-level security policies. All sharing actions are logged for audit purposes.
PDF Reports
Pro users can export PDF reports of their projections. Reports are generated server-side and delivered directly to your browser. We do not store generated PDFs; they are created on-demand and discarded after delivery.
Your Choices
You may delete scenarios, goals, or close your account by contacting hello@fidser.com. Requesting deletion permanently removes your household, scenarios, goals, sharing records, and cached simulations from our systems within 30 days.
You can manage reminder email preferences and revoke shared access at any time from the Settings page.
